GhostPDFStudio

iPhone photo to PDF, no upload.

Drop a .heic photo and get a PDF page sized to the image — decoded and built on your device.

Turn an iPhone HEIC photo into a PDF. HEIC is the format iPhones save photos in by default, and many upload forms, printers, and Windows apps still refuse it. GhostPDF decodes the HEIC in your browser, converts it, and places it on a PDF page sized to the photo — ready for an application form, an expense report, or a document upload. No upload, no signup, no watermark.

A photo of a receipt, ID, or signed form usually carries hidden EXIF data, including the GPS location where it was taken. Converting to PDF re-encodes the pixels; to be sure nothing identifying rides along, X-ray the result or strip the photo's metadata first.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your HEIC

Drag in the photo from your iPhone or Mac. It opens in the GhostImage studio with Convert → PDF pre-selected.

  2. 2

    It converts locally

The HEIC is decoded in your browser and placed on a PDF page sized to the image.

  3. 3

    Download the PDF

Save it, or keep going — merge it with other PDFs, compress it, or sign it.

Good to know

  • Documents from your camera

For a photo of a paper document, Scan (in GhostImage) straightens the page and cleans up the background first — the PDF comes out looking scanned rather than photographed.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is my photo uploaded?

No. HEIC decoding and PDF creation run in your browser; the photo never leaves your device.

  • Can I put several photos in one PDF?

Yes — use Images to PDF to combine several photos, one per page, into a single PDF.

  • Why won't a website accept my HEIC?

HEIC is efficient but not universally supported. PDF and JPG are accepted almost everywhere — convert to whichever the form asks for.

  • Does the PDF keep the photo's location data?

The photo is re-encoded before it's placed on the page. If you need certainty, strip the metadata first or X-ray the finished file.

Every GhostPDF tool runs entirely in your browser. Your file is never uploaded — there's no upload endpoint to send it to.
