GhostPDFStudio

Merge PDFs into one.

Drop the first PDF, add the rest, set the order — combined on your device with nothing uploaded.

Combine two or more PDFs into a single document, entirely in your browser. Drop the first PDF here, then add the others and arrange the order — GhostPDF concatenates them with pdf-lib on your device, so contracts, scans, and statements are never uploaded anywhere. The merged file stays fully editable in the studio: compress it, add page numbers, watermark it, or hand it straight to GhostSign for a signature — all in the same tab. Free, no signup, no watermark, no page limit.

How it works

  1. 1

    Drop your first PDF

Drag a PDF onto the page or click to browse. It opens in the GhostPDF studio with Merge pre-selected — nothing is sent anywhere.

  2. 2

    Add the other PDFs

Pick the PDFs to append and set the order you want them in. Each file is read locally into your browser's memory.

  3. 3

    Download the merged PDF

GhostPDF stitches everything into one document on your device. Keep stacking edits (compress, watermark, sign) or download it as-is.

Frequently asked questions

  • How do I merge PDF files without uploading them?

Use a tool that runs in the browser instead of on a server. GhostPDF's merge is built on pdf-lib compiled to run client-side — you can watch your browser's Network tab while merging and confirm no file ever leaves your device.

  • Can I control the page order?

Yes. The document you dropped comes first and the PDFs you add are appended in the order you choose, so the final page order is fully under your control.

  • Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?

No fixed count. The practical ceiling is your device's memory, since every input is held in the browser while merging — hundreds of ordinary pages are fine; very large scanned archives may slow older machines.

  • Does merging reduce quality?

No. Pages are copied into the output document as-is — text, vectors, and images are not re-rendered or recompressed.

  • Can I edit the merged PDF afterwards?

Yes. The result stays open in the studio, so you can immediately compress it, rotate pages, add page numbers or a watermark, password-protect it, or send it to GhostSign for a signature.

  • Is it really free, with no watermark?

Yes. No watermark, no signup, no daily task caps.
