What GhostX is

GhostX (ghostx.tools) is a family of free, privacy-first browser tools: GhostSign (document signing), GhostPDF (PDF tools), GhostImage (image tools), GhostQR (QR codes), GhostAudio and GhostVideo (media tools), GhostSheet (spreadsheets), GhostDev (developer utilities), GhostSend (one-time encrypted sends), and GhostBeam (peer-to-peer file transfer). These terms cover all of them. Files are processed in your browser; the few server-backed flows (multi-signer signing, one-time sends, transfer signaling) hold only end-to-end encrypted data that auto-deletes — we do not store your files.

Legal validity of signatures

Electronic signatures created with GhostSign comply with the requirements of the ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. § 7001) and the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (UETA). Each signed document includes a consent record, timestamp, and SHA-256 cryptographic hash for integrity verification.

Document limitations

Under US law, certain documents cannot be signed electronically, including:

• Wills, codicils, and testamentary trusts
• Adoption, divorce, and family law court orders
• Court orders and official court documents
• Cancellation of health or life insurance
• Product recall notices affecting health or safety

Some states may have additional restrictions for real estate deeds, powers of attorney, and notarized documents.

Disclaimer of warranties

GHOSTX AND EVERY TOOL IT COMPRISES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that: (a) GhostX will meet your requirements; (b) GhostX will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (c) any documents signed through GhostSign will be legally valid or enforceable in any particular jurisdiction; or (d) any defects will be corrected.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GHOSTX, IN2LABS, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of data, files, documents, or signatures
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
• Legal disputes arising from documents signed using these tools
• Failure of electronic signatures to be recognized or enforced
• Any damages resulting from unauthorized access or use
• Any damages resulting from errors, bugs, or service interruptions

This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Your total aggregate liability from use of this service is limited to zero dollars ($0.00).

Use at your own risk

You use GhostX entirely at your own risk. You are solely responsible for determining whether electronic signatures are appropriate and legally sufficient for your specific documents and jurisdiction. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. If you need assurance that your electronically signed documents will be legally enforceable, consult a qualified attorney.

We make no representations about the legal validity of signatures created using GhostSign. We are not responsible for any legal, financial, or personal consequences that arise from your use of any GhostX tool.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GhostX, IN2Labs, and its owners, operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or related to your use of GhostX, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use GhostX for any unlawful purpose — including signing documents fraudulently, sending malicious files, or distributing content you have no right to distribute. Don't be an evil ghost.

Abuse & excessive use

We actively monitor for spam, automated abuse, and excessive usage patterns. If we detect activity that appears abusive — including automated scripting, bot-driven requests, or excessive volume intended to exploit our service — we reserve the right to rate-limit, temporarily block, or permanently ban the offending IP address, device, or user without prior notice. We may also implement CAPTCHA challenges, device verification, or other protective measures at any time. Abuse of GhostX may result in immediate termination of access.

The disappearing act

Files processed by the in-browser tools — and single-signer documents — exist only in your browser session. Multi-signer documents, one-time sends, and transfer sessions are stored temporarily (encrypted) and auto-delete. We are not responsible for files lost after you close your browser or after a link expires — that's the whole point. You are responsible for downloading and saving your own copies.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of GhostX after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
