vCard QR Code Generator — Share Contact Info

Create a QR code that shares your contact details when scanned — phone, email, website, address, and job title all in one tap. Generates a standard vCard 3.0 payload. Everything runs in your browser; we never see your contact data.

How it works

  1. Fill in your contact details. Enter your name, organization, title, phone, email, website, and address. All fields except name are optional — fill what you want to share.
  2. Customize the look. Pick colors and optionally add a logo or headshot. Error correction auto-bumps to H when a logo is present.
  3. Download and share. Save as PNG, SVG, or PDF. Print it on business cards, add it to email signatures, or display it on your conference badge.

Frequently asked questions

Is this really free?

Yes. No signup, no caps, no watermark. GhostQR runs in your browser and is supported by an optional tip jar only.

Do you upload my contact details to a server?

No. The vCard payload is assembled and encoded entirely in your browser. We have no upload endpoint — your data never leaves your device.

Does the QR code expire?

Never. It is a plain image file you keep. There is no server-side hosting or TTL.

What is vCard format?

vCard (Virtual Contact File) is the standard format used by iOS Contacts, Android, Outlook, and virtually every address book app. Scanning a vCard QR code prompts the user to save the contact.

Which fields should I include?

Name is used for FN (full name) and N (structured name). Everything else is optional. For a business card use case, org + title + phone + email is usually sufficient.

Can I use this for a conference badge?

Yes. Print the QR code on your badge so attendees can scan it and instantly save your contact. Works on any phone with a native camera app on iOS 11+ or Android 10+.
