How do I rotate an image without uploading it?
GhostImage rotates the photo in your browser and hands back the turned file — there is no upload endpoint, which you can confirm in your browser's Network tab. The image never leaves your device.
Does rotating an image reduce its quality?
A 90°, 180°, or 270° turn and a horizontal or vertical flip move pixels without resampling them, so there's no blur from the rotation itself. The file is re-encoded once in its own format at high quality, which is visually lossless for photos.
Can I flip or mirror an image instead of rotating it?
Yes. Alongside the 90°/180° rotations there are horizontal (↔) and vertical (↕) flips, so you can mirror a photo or correct a back-camera selfie that came out reversed.
How do I fix a photo that keeps showing up sideways?
Rotate it to upright and download — the correction is written into the pixels, not stored as orientation metadata some apps ignore, so it displays the right way up everywhere.
Can I rotate an iPhone HEIC photo?
